What’s New at LCS
petersen@lafayettecharter.k12.mn.us
LCS Families,
The entire staff at LCS would like to thank you for your perseverance and patience through the challenging experience of distance learning. We have all missed both students and families but have enjoyed the photos and stories you’ve sent. While it’s been difficult not seeing everyone on a daily basis, we are content in the knowledge that our students come from strong LCS families.
We want to send a special wish of gratitude, hope and well wishes to our graduating 8th graders: Makia, Hunter, Taylor, Ethan, Olivia, Shelby, Ava, Anna and Jayden. Thank you for your leadership, your contributions and your laughter. You will be greatly missed!
Mrs. Petersen
Lunch & Tuition Balances
Please have all unpaid lunch & tuition balances paid by Friday, May 29th. Thank you!
Ditch Clean-Up
Want a way to get out, get exercise and help the community? Twice a year our 7/8th grades do HWY clean up along 15- this year we won’t be able to do that as class this spring but you can help keep our community clean. We are looking for families who would like to volunteer for the LCS highway clean-up project. You would have a small section of the road and we can provide safety vest, gloves, garbage bags and the link to the safety video. Contact Mrs. Petersen if you’re interested.
20 Year Reunion
Due to uncertainty with the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve decided to postpone the LCS 20 Year Reunion. More details to come at a later date.
