What’s New at LCS

clobes@lafayettecharter.k12.mn.us

We have a busy week upon us at LCS! We’re officially half way through 2nd quarter.  Watch for midterms to be e-mailed out this week. The students are doing a great job working hard and being excellent role models to their peers. Keep it up!!

PROS will meet this Tuesday at 3:15 in the Tech lab. They’re always looking for new parents to join- if you cannot make it, we can send you a link to join online. Please let myself or Mrs. Reinhart know if you’re interested.

Thursday is our Winter Music Concert. Students need to be at school by 5:45pm. Pre-K, kindergarten and 1st graders will meet in Mrs. Reinharts Room. Grades 2nd/3rd will meet in the Library. Grades 4th-8th will meet in the Stage Room. The concert will begin at 6pm with Mrs. Bruss’s piano students followed by Ms. Larson’s music classes. The students have worked very hard and are excited to share a little holiday cheer.

Reminder that there’s an early out on Friday at 1pm for teacher workshop. I also wanted to remind families that if your child is going to be absent (for any reason), you need to notify your child’s teacher and the office by 8:30am. If you do not notify by 8:30am, it’s considered an unexcused absence.

As always, contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Kind Regards,

Mrs. Clobes
