What’s New at LCS

Thank you to all the families that participated in parent/teacher conferences. If you missed your scheduled conference and would like to make it up, please contact your child’s teacher. Report cards will be coming home with those students who didn’t attend conferences.
As we’re moving into our Hybrid Learning Plan, please take the time to read through it on our website.
Masks are required; please talk with your child(ren) about wearing their mask and how to wear it properly. If you do not have a mask, please contact the office. If a child is refusing to wear a mask, parents will be contacted and other options will be discussed.
Starting Tuesday, Nov. 17th, students will have assigned seats on their bus. Please encourage them to keep their masks on while in transport.
Please watch your child’s backpack for a new academic calendar coming home this week. The calendar will include all the 12:30 early outs. If you do not receive a calendar, please contact the office.
Thank you for being patient with us while we navigate through the pandemic. We couldn’t do this without such caring and understanding families.
Teacher/Para/Food Service Subs WANTED
Interested in subbing or know someone who is? LCS is currently looking for substitute food service staff, paras and teachers. For more information, contact the LCS Office at 507-228-8943.
RADA Cutlery Fundraiser
All families received information on our newest fundraiser; RADE Cutler. We have extra books and forms available at school if you’re interested. Fundraiser orders will be due Monday, November 30th. Thank you for your participation with this!
Early Out- Friday, Nov. 20th
Reminder: There will be an early out on Friday, Nov. 20th at 12:30pm.
REMINDER: Pre-K tuition is due the 1st of every month.
Lafayette Public Charter School is now accepting applications for a Technology Coordinator. This is a part-time position. Knowledge with SMART boards, Apple Products, website maintenance, basic troubleshooting, testing set-up and serving on the Technology committee is required.
