What’s New at LCS

I want to thank the Lafayette Lions for joining us last week for our Assemby. They presented our 3rd graders and new LCS students (4th grade on up) with dictionaries. They also announced the winners of this year’s Peace Poster. Congratulations to Rachel Lund (1st place) and Himalaya Harrison (2nd place). Rachel’s poster will now be judged at the district level. We’re grateful and thankful for all the support offered by the Lions club- thank you!

This week we welcome families and community members in for the 4th/5th grade Community Coffee on Wednesday, Nov. 17th at 2:15pm in the Stage Room.

The LCS STEAM program is in search of a new or used Shop Vac. If you or someone you know is looking to get rid of one, please let us know.

On Monday, Nov. 22nd, the bus route for riders on bus 1 (New Ulm route) will be changing for afternoon drop off. Please watch for an e-mail with updated times and locations. If you have any questions, please contact Dale at New Ulm Bus Lines. The new route will begin Monday, Nov. 22nd- see schedule below.

Save the date for our Winter Music Concert on Thursday, Dec. 9th. All are welcome to enjoy holiday music performed by pre-k – 8th grade students.

As always, contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Kind Regards,

Mrs. Clobes
