What’s New at LCS
Welcome to the first week of October! I wanted to point out our COVID 19 Resource page on our school website. Here you can find resouces and updates from LCS. If you have any questions related to COVID 19, check out the website or call the office. Information is updated/changing daily; we’re trying our best to keep everything current.
I wanted to send another reminder that the STEM night scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 8th has been canceled due to COVID restrictions.
Please watch your child’s backpack for midterms this week. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher.
Nicollet County Cares
Nicollet County Health and Human Services continues to have funding opportunities available to help Nicollet County residents with costs related to child care, housing, utilities, and other crisis needs related to COVID-19. School Board Elections
LCS School Board Elections will be held Tuesday, October 20th from 3-6pm in the gymnasium. If you’re interested in running for board, please complete an application and submit a biography to Mrs. Petersen at email@example.com by October 12th. Applications can be found at www.lafayettecharter.k12.mn.us under Board Membership-search school board application.
REMINDER: Pre-K tuition is due the 1st of every month.
Please label masks, water bottles, lunch bags etc.
Job Posting- Technology Coordinator
Lafayette Public Charter School is now accepting applications for a Technology Coordinator. This is a part-time position. Knowledge with SMART boards, Apple Products, website maintenance, basic troubleshooting, testing set-up and serving on the Technology committee is required.
