Welcome back to In-Person Learning
Welcome back LCS students! Teachers and school staff are beyond excited to welcome students back in the building and are eager to get started. Please return any supplies that were used for distance learning back to school. If your family had a school owned tablet and/or Chromebook (charging cords included), please return to school on Monday.
As we make this transition, please remember to follow the COVID 19 Decision Tree (attached below) and report any illnesses to the LCS Office. Our goal is to keep our staff and students safe while providing them the best academic, social and emotion experiences possible.
There are calendar and busing changes to be made aware of. Please see the January 2021 calendar and updated bus schedules below. Reminder, January 15th is the last day of 2nd quarter. Please check with your child’s teacher if you have any questions in regards to grades. If you have any questions, please contact the LCS Office.
Calendar Changes
Please use this calendar to reference days off and early outs in January. Every Friday will be an early out at 12:30 to support distance learning students & teachers (per Executive Order 20-94 & 20-95). No childcare will be offered for early outs.
- Monday, Jan. 11th: In-person Learning resumes for K-8thgrade
- Friday, Jan. 15th: Early out at 12:30- Teacher Planning
- Friday, Jan. 15th: End of 2nd Quarter
- Monday, Jan. 18th: No School- MLK Day
- Friday, Jan. 22nd: Early Out at 12:30- Teacher Planning
- Friday, Jan. 29th: Early Out at 12:30- Teacher Planning
We WILL have school on Thursday, January 14th & Friday, January 15th (this will be an early out at 12:30pm).
REMINDER: Pre-K tuition is due the 1st of every month.

Part-Time Custodian- 11/18/2020
Lafayette Public Charter School is now accepting applications for a Part-Time Custodian. Candidates with considerable experience in performing custodial and building maintenance, cleaning, and skills in facilities maintenance and safety protocols are preferred. This position is responsible for the overall cleanliness, sanitation, security, safety and maintenance of the school building, grounds and equipment. Hours vary from 15-20 hours per week. A typical schedule is Monday-Friday 3:15-6:15pm with an hourly range of $11-$12 per hour.

Technology Coordinator
Lafayette Public Charter School is now accepting applications for a Technology Coordinator. This is a part-time position. Knowledge with SMART boards, Apple Products, website maintenance, basic troubleshooting, testing set-up and serving on the Technology committee is required.
