Hi I'm Stacey Reinhart and I'm the Pre-Kindergarten teacher here at LCS!

Education Background: I went to Minnesota State University, Mankato and received my BS in Early Childhood Education which covers birth- 3rd grade. This will be my 5th year at LCS.

Hobbies: I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, crafts, crocheting, being outside roaming in the woods, 4-wheeling and enjoying the lake.

Fun fact about yourself: My husband, 3 kids and I live on a farm with steers, sheep, chickens and our dog.

Favorite thing about LCS: Seeing the interactions between all of the students and how much the older students help the younger students.

Hi I'm Tally Clobes and I'm the Kindergarten teacher here at LCS.

Education Background: Southwest Minnesota State Marshall-Bachelor of Science with a Reading Concentration

I have been part of the  LCS  family for 17 years.  The first 6 years I taught at the Starland site and the last 11 years at LCS.

Hobbies: Reading, Crafts, Swimming, Walking

Fun fact about yourself: I have taught every grade K-8th plus Early Childhood ages 3-5.  I love animals and have 2 dogs, 6 farm cats and a bunny.

Favorite thing about LCS: LCS feels like family.  When you walk in the school and see the students from Pre-School to 8th grade working together, reading together and playing together.  Teachers work together to provide the best education for each student.   Everyone helps everyone.  It just puts a smile on your face.  LCS is a great school of choice!

Hi I'm Barbara Sullivan and I'm the 1st and 2nd grade teacher here at LCS!

Education Background: I have been to college twice. The first time I went to SMSU and graduated with a B.A. in Literature/Creative Writing. Then two years later I returned to college but this time I went to WSU. I graduated three years later with a B.S. in Elementary Education and a minor in Mathematics. I have been at LCS for the past 3 years.

Hobbies: My favorite thing to do in the world is read! However, I also love anything and everything that has to do with the visual arts such as drawing, painting, sculpting, writing, etc. It is my dream to one day have a space/room I can use as an art studio. Then I could use my kitchen table as a place to eat rather than a place to hold my art projects.

Fun fact about yourself: When I was in second grade, my best friend and I wrote a book while we rode the bus to and from school. Our book featured this very creepy, steep hill with a windy road on our bus route, and we had heard that the city was thinking of redoing this hill in order to make the area more attractive to future home builders. We were outraged! We thought this hill was perfect the way it was and thought if we featured it in our story the city would change its mind. Needless to say, it didn’t work. The city “beautified” the area and our creepy hill is no more. However, I still have a copy of our book.

Favorite thing about LCS: My favorite thing about LCS is atmosphere. All of the grades interact with each other. It is amazing to see eighth graders talking and playing with first graders before school.  I also love how I get the chance to get to know, teach, and have a relationship with each child that attends our school!

Hi I'm Ashley Walters and I'm the 3rd and 4th grade teacher here at LCS!

Education Background: I attended Winona State University and graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education (K-6), Early Childhood Education (Birth-3rdgrade), and Pre-Primary (Age 3-K).   This will be my 8th year at LCS.

Hobbies: I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, scrapbooking, gardening, and spending time at the lake.

Fun fact about yourself: My first full time teaching position was with 4thand 5th grades at LCS.

Favorite thing about LCS: I love that LCS is a welcoming community that works together across all grade levels!
