A HUGE congratulations goes out to LCS’s Lego League participants (Ram Robotics) as they competed last Saturday at Holy Family High School in Victoria, MN. Ram Robotics took home the Innovated Design Award. See pictures below-Way to go LCS!

Ag Fair Packets

Ag Fair packets went home with students last week. Please be sure to go through them with your children and start brainstorming project ideas. The Ag Fair project is mandatory for students in grades 4th-8th. If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Petersen.

Auction Help

LCS PROS (Parents Reaching Out for Students) is beginning to gear up for this year’s silent and live auction fundraiser on Sunday, March 13th. This is the biggest fundraiser of the school year for PROS and the proceeds go directly to supplement classroom and school wide needs. We need your help and there’s many ways you can help- from volunteering to donating items. If you are crafty and willing to make something (mittens, woodwork items, canned goods or anything else) it would be greatly appreciated. Another great idea would be a theme basket filled with different items: movie night, baking, children’s games, Barbie dolls and /or clothes or trucks. You could also donate a service for the auction as in a dessert of the month, cleaning a house, babysitting and/or making a specialty meal for 8 persons (German meal, Italian meal or American meal). Lastly, we’re looking for volunteers to call local businesses and collect donations. We will provide you with the list and a script- if you would be willing to call a group of businesses, please let us know by Thursday, Dec. 19th. If you are interested in other ways in helping for the auction please let us know. The PROS Committee thanks you greatly!!

Heggies Pizza Fundraiser

Order forms for Heggies pizza went home last week. We encourage families to participate as this is a fundraiser for PROS. Order forms and payment are due back to school on Tuesday, January 28th. Pizza pickup will be Thursday, Feb. 13th from 3:30-6:30pm. Pizza’s MUST be picked up on that date due to lack of freezer space at school.
