New School Board

LCS is excited to announce our newly elected school board members; our parent member, Joni Guggisberg and teacher members Robin Larson and Barbara Sullivan. We know they will make a great addition to the LCS school board and we’re excited to start working with them this December.

Please remember that school board meetings are open to the public and you’re always welcome to come and provide us with your input.

Sioux Trails

LCS is partnering with Sioux Trails to offer counceling services for our students. If families would like additional information, please contact the office.

 Usborne Books & More Fundraiser

LCS is sponsoring an Usborne Books & More fundraiser. In the packet sent home this week, you will find an order form and product flyer that you can use to showcase the five different card boxes that customers can choose from. Each both costs $30 and contains at least 30 different cards. As you collect orders, please also collect payment.

Order forms and payments are due back to school by Monday, Dec. 2nd. All checks should be made payable to Lafayette Charter School.

We appreciate your time and support with this fundraiser. Please know that your children will prosper substantially from all the resources gained form this fundraiser!

 Student Council Day

The LCS Student Council will be hosting Student Council Day on Thursday, Nov. 21st. Our all school activity will be a reading lock-in. Students are encouraged to dress as their favorite movie or book character.
